Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Some menu links will be to pages that only exist after migration, so there's no convenient way to create them ahead of time.
The top menu we want to keep as limited as possible, so it works on mobile devices as well as well. Currently we suggest having the top menu be:
About - Give - Join - Store
(Join goes to the current get involved page, which can almost all be interpreted as ways of 'joining' in with GEO by participating or supporting. As the current page puts it, "Join the movement!")
Search and subscribe should both be text boxes with "Search" and "Subscribe" buttons that are near the top of the site, but not in the menu itself.
Drutopia has nice-looking vertical menus in the
footer_menus
block, see the bottom of https://demo.drutopia.org/resources for example:Room at the bottom of pages is "free", in the sense it's no longer competing with people achieving other goals they have on the site, so we can go pretty wild here. Let's map it out ahead of time:

Oh there should totally be a link to a page that breaks everything down by topic, too. That just lists all the terms. Future functionality though...

These were my recommendations for expanding the footer menus. Want me to take a start, creating these menus, and then you can can edit / disable / fix the various links?

@joshua_davis specifically these here: https://gitlab.com/agaric/sites/geo/issues/39#content
But the point i made above that is, feel free to go wild with lots of links in the footer :-)
Hi @joshua_davis it'd be great to finalize the menu for the site. Ben's suggestion of the following would work well for readers, in my opinion. Is that ok with you? and do you want help updating the current menus to match?

This looks fine for the footer menu links.
