Search engines such as Google and social media such as Facebook and Twitter offer various kinds of link previews that are often only available or are greatly enhanced by a site providing special metadata, largely falling under the OpenGraph rubric.

  • Ensure the new site isn't currently a downgrade over the old site by testing link previews on
  • So long as it's not, at our leisure improve the previews shown on other sites using Open Graph metadata and possibly other techniques
