Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I published an article by a woman who hasn't appeared on the site before and discovered that the "Authors" text box only accepts currently existing authors. When I typed Laura's name in box and tried to save it I got this error message.
This is something that we really need fixed ASAP. Thanks.
@joshua_davis the workaround for the moment is to https://geo.coop/node/add/people first and create the person (can be done in another window, and after a couple submission tries should start coming up in autocomplete; if not we can show how to put in the ID to save the article).
@joshua_davis but knowing to go to Administer » Content » Add person first, before creating other content, should be enough to hold you over until we get around to making inline author creation?

Silly me, I was looking for something like this under the People
menu...That does work. Thanks.
It's our fault/Drupal's for making the "People" content and "People" users so confusing! If you have recommended label changes to make it easier for others, we can do that easily.
Maybe change the top-level menu item from People to Users ?
Or maybe Members would be better than Users...
