@cedewey as much fun as it was to trace back the slide.html.twig and paragraph--slide.html.twig templates you copied from Octavia... the slide paragraph type from Drutopia that you started to style some time ago and that you're using here does not match what we're trying to do with Todd's carousel slides.
Primarily, you have two separate paragraphs, one for each slide, here. I don't have any idea what Drutopia is trying to do with the slide paragraph type, but it's not a carousel like we're trying to do.
You are hoping to end up with something looking something like this, right?

@cedewey P.S. i know now that the slide paragraph type is used for #108 so don't change it; we need a new carousel paragraph type (which could be made up of slide paragraphs i suppose)
