@FreeScholar after live is updated (the front page will look decent, not how it looks now) can you test doing this, ensure site manager role has sufficient permissions, and then show Josh so he can do it as part of final cleanup?

Hmmm, I do not know how to do this. The setup is not like any Drupal site I have used, the 'manager' role cannot even see the home page: Access Denied, and I have tried to set the perms without success. I do not know what underlying perms are overriding or what is up there.

@FreeScholar ah, sorry, yes, it is different. The homepage is provided by the Empty Page module, which allows one to stick blocks on a page without having to come up with something else to put there first— it's great, except that it comes with no permissions set by default. The rather silly "View empty page" permission is now given to anonymous and authenticated users, should be good to go!

Note that one of the front page blocks needs to be filled out to be visible, please test out #41 even though we'll blow it away.
